why we love it
Okay, so like I already said, I haven't had time to watch this year's special, which I assume is great(!), but I did watch the 2023 one multiple times and can attest to its' being worth a watch.
I loved how she opted to cook only the dark meat (who really needs a whole bird, anyway?), and slow-roasted it IN A BUNCH OF FAT in a dutch oven. The buttered stuffing with celery and leeks recipe has been our go-to for the last several years, and I plan to make it again this year. The simple cranberry sauce is also really great (and so easy to make)!
