Our terrazzo concrete matchstick holder not only holds your matches, but also provides a perfect surface to light your strike anywhere matches on. You could say it’s quite a “striking” piece.

Materials: concrete & recycled glass w/ a cork base

Dimensions: 2.5" w x 1.875" h

  • Our concrete products are handmade in Houston, Texas.
  • Each product is individually hand-cast in small batches from custom-made rubber molds.
  • Colors and any terrazzo aggregate are integrally mixed into the concrete, resulting in each piece being unique.
  • Natural voids occur during casting and some pieces will have very small pin holes.

  • Although the sealer we use is food-grade and safe, we don't recommend using these for direct food contact.
  • Due to the porous nature of concrete, staining may occur over time and is a natural result of use, especially on lighter colors.
  • To clean, do not submerge in water. Wipe clean with mild soap and water.

Since many of our products are made to order, we may require a 1-2 weeks processing time. Once we have it ready to go, we'll send you a confirmation email with tracking info.

We accept returns on items that have not been used or damaged within 30 days of delivery. Please note that we do not cover the shipping cost on returned items.

Doesn't light matches.

Nice concept, but it definitely does not work to strike matches. I have tried different kinds of matches with no luck.

Hi Lisa, sorry to hear you are having issues! Did you use “strike anywhere” matches like Diamond brand? Any type of normal match will not light on the surface — it has to be a “strike anywhere” match specifically. Even if they look like a strike anywhere match, they have to have the chemicals in the head of the match that cause them to ignite when struck on a rough surface. Hope that helps!
